Quick Observation
Approach to the hermit campground was icy as expected but did not use ski crampons. Would have been useful. Hermit to Swiss glacier is smooth sailing but the skin track up the gully was complete ass and extremely slippery. Swiss glacier is basically planar with no sags. Rogers south face was extremely firm at pencil and occasional 1F-4F powder at the base of the face. The last approach tot he summit was pencil + and boot packing was rough. Definitely bring crampons and ice axe for extra security. Skiing was predictable but chattery. Swiss glacier skied amazing till the lizard tail. From 1900m and below was terrible as expected. ranged from 1F crust to knife density in spots.
Weather
Only windy from the Col to the top. Snow had been blown in to the face previously creating a very firm snowpack with a 3-10 cm wind crust which was supportive. Inversion noted from 1600-1800m but was breaking down with holes appearing.
