10 mile pond

We found a weak layer 20cm deep in the snow today. There were no signs of propagation and the snow above was very soft. It did not seem like much of a problem at the moment, but it could come alive with warm temps and sun. There were a couple other layers that may have potential in the heat as well. If we get the warm sunny weather that is forecasted, it will be safer to play in the shade. Our plan is to avoid steep solar aspects when the sun comes out. Snow geek info..
