We skied a loop from SE Pond through Labrador Pd exiting at Burridges Glade. Sheltered treed valleys and east aspect slopes including the Glade held 20-30 cm of powder that provided excellent skiing. High alpine areas were frequently blasted bare of skiable snow and covered with an overlying hard icy crust. All east aspect ridge lines carried large cornices many of which had broken. We observed one size 2 ??? avalanche and failed cornices across the east aspect of Burridges Hill above the normal skiers route out.
Observed from across the valley.
