Surprise Pass Lake Louise

Sun at 10am was already rapidly warming the east facing slopes. There was some surface hoar just below where the approach trail spilts between saddle back and Fairview. About 2300m. The final gulley has a ski track all the way to the top however it became too icy half way up and we had to boot pack the rest of the way. Still some fresh lines left
