McGill Powder

Toured up to approx 20m before the ridge of the main chute on McGill shoulder. Winds were light-moderate and have put a thin crust on the uptrack above tree line. Dug a hasty pit on a similar aspect slope (see pics)which required moderate effort to give RP results (approx 40cm). Beside some light sluffing on the drop in, the snowpack showed no signs of instability and wind affected was primarily on skiers left side. Overall great day!!
