Chester Lake Alpine

Good skiing conditions just in the alpine, with less wind affect than expected! Good stability with better skiing on NE aspects, although the wind hadn't completely ruined the W aspects either. Localized sluffing out of steep terrain didn't gather any mass. See snowpack tab for more detail. Have fun and be safe out there!

Got an easy result (CTE6) on a buried windslab. RP break that was not able to be replicated in an ECT (ECTX). No signs of instability on ski or skin, minus localized cracking between new snow and wind slabs on kick turns. December rain crust disappearing above around 2100m. See image or hasty snow plot.
