Powder Town

Today we went out to Hasler, aka powder town, population 4! The new snow is starting to pile up and remains soft in the sheltered spots. We saw that westerly winds have scoured ridge lines and formed slabs on the slopes just below. We were careful to avoid these loaded areas below ridges crests and in the alpine. With plenty of great riding to go around, we played in steep, open trees well away from the effects of wind. It was an awesome day to shred in the deep!
