STS

We went up to ski STS couloir. We dug a pit lockers left of Baloo pas with the following results: Enevation 2000m Aspect NE Slope angle 30° HS 170 FP 50 CTM14 SP down 90 ECTX On the way up to Nickies and then futher up to STS we didn't encounter any signs of instability. Hand shear tests along the way required firm pressure on the wind consolidated layers below the loose snow on the surface. In the couloir we had to manage sluff in the steep section. Otherwise very good ski conditions.
