Went to the highest and most northern place I could in the Ogden Mountains today to see what actually happened on the night of Nov 14. How much rain and if it rained up to 9000ft. My hypothosis was correct from my post on Friday morning a decent amount of rain fell above 9000 ft in the Ogden Mounaints. The old snow sitting on the grass was very damp (see video). Monte Cristo had about 8" of snow from the Nov 5th storm. Snow pit tests at 9000ft on North Aspect were ECTX x 2. CT(PC) 26 and 28 on the slight rain crust.
Avalanche danger is still reall void below 8000 ft due do so little snow on ground. 9 inches at most.

- <p>If I had to choose a avalanche <strong>characteristic</strong> it would be storm slab but not much for avalanche conditions out in the Ogden Mountains. </p>
