I saw a few natural avalanches while I was cross-country skiing on 2/22/24. It probably happened in the last 24 hours. Sadly I didn’t have time to take a closer look, but my best guess is that the larger avalanche was about 250ft wide and 1-2 feet deep. I couldn’t quite see where the debris pile ended, but it probably ran just over 600 vertical feet. Today was pretty warm and the snow was very wet. Saw lots of pin wheels on steeper slopes.
