Driving up BCC multiple small avalanches failing 2-3 inches down could be see. on the sides of the road. On our way up to USA Bowl we were able to pull similar, albeit small, slabs off the side of the road with our poles. Slab was failing on extremely light snow, most likely from Monday. Skinning up the bowl cracks were shooting everywhere out from our skis and the wind was howling from the south blowing up the slope. Since we were on mellow terrain everything stayed put but I wouldn't want to be on anything steep enough to slide.
