Red Flags Comment

We only observed poor snowpack structure today as we actively chose sheltered, low-angle terrain. Some evidence of past wind loading in lee terrain.

Snowpack

Instability Comment

Facets still exist below the new snow.

Shady slopes still held cold powder snow, while the sunnies were taking on a little heat from the higher sun angle. Overall, much improved riding conditions on all aspects. We found a developing RR crust on some E-facing terrain with weak snow on top. Not contiguous.
