Quick report
Snowing S-1 late morning, kicked up to S2 by early afternoon. Winds were lighter and swirling earlier, but turned light to moderate out of the SE when the snowfall intensified. Below 8200ft, there was a pronounced breakable surface crust with just the day's snow overlying it. No signs of instability, I was able to break the rain crust making turns in wind-scoured areas, but it was supportable everywhere else.

HS 103cm, HST 5-10cm @ 8900ft New snow was well bonded in most areas, there was an interface about halfway through the HST that was breaking before the N/O on the crust in hand shears. Dug a quick pit and performed a CT, had a two easy fractures in the new snow, and CT21SC 32cm down just below the November facet sandwich. About 70cm down there was a 5cm layer of 4F- facets.
