Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Traveled on and skied north/northwest facing aspects up to a high point of 6,000 ft for the day. Boot-supportable crust with 3-8" of snow on top. Lots of old wet loose debris from early Feb warm up. Observed isolated cracking under the skin track on steep convexities near the bottom of an open drainage, but surprisingly did not observe any wind affected snow on the ridgeline. Winds were generally calm with a cloud ceiling at ~6500' dropping to 4500' steadily throughout the day. Steady S1 snowfall from noon onwards. 25F at the car when we left, increasing to 32F at our 5pm return to the car.
