Well we got a bunch of new snow this week but rain has hit lower elevations and warm temps have arrived. Be aware of this large amount of new snow combined with rapidly warming temperatures creating potentially large avalanches this next week.

Snowpack

About 30 inches of new snow this week. With two distinct layers inside. The snow has started to get wet from the warm temps the last 48 hours and the rain today. Numerous spots with roller balls (even on non solar slopes)

Avalanche

A couple small wet avalanches in red rocks canyon. Unable to see higher in elevation
