Quick report
Another nice break in the clouds in the afternoon and solid riding partners. Still enjoyable dry and soft surface snow near tree line and above. Overall feedback is moving towards favorable stability in specific areas, but seems short lived with specific to widespread poor structure with propensity for propagation and inbound critical weather.
No red flags observed from the day or results from safe sled test slopes.Weather

Mild temps and calm SE winds. Overcast to broken in the afternoon.
Snowpack
~ 2' settling storm snow over a variety of hardnesses and total snow height of 10'. Most notable was a firm layer from previous wind events in numerous locations. High strength but likelihood for propagation down 18" within the new snow from a lull in the storm. Poor structure and likelihood for propagation was also found 34" down on facets from a broken down melt freeze-facet sandwich.
