While the Cog felt sheltered from western winds until just before Jacob’s Ladder, the western winds were whipping through Crawford Notch. 

I took the long way home hoping to see into Crawford thinking I might have a chance since the fog layer was about 3500 ft. 

These are just some photos of the developing snowpack and to look at paths, not an elaborate observation by any means. 

I expected to find conditions like this at lower elevations as it takes time for these paths to develop, but wanted to take a look. As you can see, paths are thin with many visible rocks.
