Quick Observation

Most of my observations corroborated today’s bulletin. Nice work, forecasters! The SE face off Ross Peak was active today! Wet avalanches were coming down roughly every 5 minutes, up to size 2.5. A compression test on a NNW aspect around 1850m revealed at least 5 distinct planar layers. 2 released during finger taps (8 and 15cm depth). 1 released during elbow taps (25cm). And two more could be found when pulling down the rest of the column after taps were completed (80cm and 120cm).
