Observation: Bear Trap

Snowprobe results had high fidelity to pit dug by partner. Less density change in new snow than expected: just heavy. Detecting 2 crusts including the one 65cm down that the pit wall collapsed on from a remote trigger (me crawling in). I messed up the layer annotation for the bottom to layers, but there was a crust near the ground indicated by the profile and wet facets underneath which seems encouraging when compared to the dry sugar pile of last year. Winds were cooking on ridge lines in beartrap and across canyon in the alpine. Rain line was up to 8300ft.
