Quick report
Loud Powder and Sunny skies. Toured up the common uptrack on the Sunnyside at 830a gawking at the glide release from yesterday. Clear Skies. Quick Pit at 2400ft on S aspect showed total depth of 140cm and a crust 40cm below surface and a much drier snow pack below crust compared to simliar pit on Nov 23rd. Quick pit at 2850ft on N aspect showed the 2mm thick layer of surface hoar/facets 70cm below surface ECTP 29 BKN and ECTX (but full propagation on 31st strike) Beautiful morning for a tour, good company and good skiing back to care at 1230p. Chilly temps in the valley.
