Snowpack
Last night's freeze was not as good as the previous night. A quick pit on a northeast aspect at 11,300ft revealed previous water having pooled around the 4/1 crust. The upper 20 to 25cm of this snowpack was frozen and then the rest of the snow was moist to the ground. The snowpack height was 125cm. We skied the same slope around 11:30am with the top few cm's having softened, making for ok skiing. A more easterly facing slope became punchy to skis below ~10,700ft. A steep NE-facing slope at 9,500ft was also punchy to skis.

Skier triggered a full depth wet loose that propagated about 15 feet wider as a wet slab mid slope. This was a very steep ~45 degree slope at 9,500ft.
