Views of old snow coverage

Old snow coverage persisted through the recent warm weather primarily on northerly-facing slopes near and above treeline.  A thin coating is present below treeline on shady slopes.  Some easterly slopes also have old snow coverage at upper elevation particularly where previous winds drifted snow earlier this fall in snow-favored areas of the Ruby Range.  see images
