Quick report
Yikes! I went for a late afternoon tour to take my dog out up Earthquake Dome. Snow seemed deep as my dog punched through the skin track and hard time keeping up. Unfortunately, the majority of the snow we skied already had a nasty crust layer on it. This was unexpected to me because I assumed it stayed cool in North facing trees all day but I was wrong. Breakable crust layer already hit this beautiful spot. On a positive note, no avalanche activity or cracking.
