Lots of wind effect and crust on the north ridge of Zoa as expected, pockets of powder snow on lee sides, as well as once you drop down the north side of the ridge.
No instabilities observed, and no convex slopes we crossed were reactive. Dug a quick hand pit and found the firm crust (two layers actually) under the surface layer with a softer layer below it, and very firm crust to the ground after.
Skiing was really good on the north side, 30+ people out today. Some drainage is still open in areas and small trees exposed.
Ski out to the pipeline was pretty good staying to skier left, and we skied about 2/3 of the way out the pipeline to the parking lot with the last section being just a little too rocky for our liking.
