Balu Pass

Went touring up Balu pass on Tuesday (my birthday). A dusting of fresh snow from the day before was present. Our main observation was that further up the Connaught Creek valley, the snow surface became slightly wind affected and was crusty in certain patches. Wind affected snow was mainly found closer to the top of the Balu pass ridge.
