We skinned up Mc Gill shoulder all the way to the ridge. No signs of instability at BTL. Went we got close to the ridge we could observed some cracks from the group that climbes before us. Just above west camp this group triggered a sz1 wind slab (picture). We did 2 CT on the ridge. Result of sudden planar at CTM12 down 40cm. We also had a sudden planar CTV at this depth. The wind slab was 1F and was sitting on top 10-15cm of F snow. We ended up riding the Main chutes instead of West camp since it was less wind affected. Although if was less affected we ski cut a sz1 from the ridge. The snow in the Main chutes started to be sun affected as we came down.
