Pedley Pass

Went up Pedley pass, skiing was nice with the new 15cm over the past week. Super wind blown around the high point of the pass but good snow elsewhere. Didn’t have any slab activity.

Dug a pit on a north aspect, didn’t end up digging to ground but failed at 155cm and 140cm on a layer of facets after 5 hits from the elbow. Dug around but didn’t find any surface hoar present in the snowpack although there was some very small forming below tree line in sheltered areas.
