Flatiron Bowl

Skied Flatiron Bowl on Sunday. 10-15cm of unconsolidated snow over rain crust at least until 1750m, probably higher. We didn’t find obvious wind slab (or even significant transport) to North East aspect slopes. Snowing and overcast in the morning, poor visibility above 1750m so we skied the lower slopes. Clearing and sun in the afternoon, a very thin crust just starting to form on North East aspects. Be careful of Needle Creek around 1600m, there are some uncovered holes.
