Sunny skies for the morning, with some convectives in the PM. Winds were mostly flowing down valley out of the west. But were flowing upslope on bruins glacier.
Ski quality on 8812 & Xmas couloir were fabulous. 10-15HN over supportive but unconsolidated previous snow. Thin wind slab on N asp bruins pass(5-10cm). Thin very soft storm slab in Xmas couloir (5cm) that was unreactive to skier traffic.
Bruins glacier was haggard as expected. The large slot at the top has yet to be bridged and is relatively unworkable.
