Patchy snow cover until just under 4000’. 10-12” of new snow at 5000’ and 18-20” above. Sold crust underneath with 2-4” inches of saturated snow between crust and new snow.
Avalanche
Observed two rider triggered slides. One small storm slab from an impact in the landing of a small drop (NE aspect @ 5800’) and one small wet loose while descending an open sunny slope (W aspect @ 5600’). Observed several other natural slides including some wet/loose starting from trees and cliffs as well as one wet loose that released a small storm slab on a sunny W aspect @ 5800’.
