Isolated shooting cracks in new snow (about 10cm) not bonded to crust below. Experienced moderate sluff on steep slopes at higher elevations. Dug a snow pit at 7648 ft on a north aspect. Snow was 150cm deep. Performed CT and ECT tests. CT-1 @ 139cm, CT @ 115, ECTN-4 @ 139cm , ECTN-18 @115cm. Q1 shear on both crust layers.
