Wind was as strong or a little stronger than predicted, saw lots of snow transport off south ridge line of west and east grass lakes, wind was also transporting snow in trees on the flats on the lakes, blowing the snow clumps off trees throughout grass lakes area. The solar effect took over early afternoon, by 2pm the snow had become quite thick and heavy, very spring like on all aspects with sun, observed many pinwheels, coming off steeper slopes from cliffs and trees all over.
