Quick report
The time change didn't seem to impact the corn harvest this morning on Carson Pass. We found firm travel conditions from the Carson Pass SnoPark south towards Elephant's Back and then continued a little further towards Elephant's Graveyard. Shady slopes remained quite firm but SE slopes were softening nicely around 10:30am. The large glide cracks near the top of one of the bowls in this area were impressive and something to monitor in the coming weeks. I didn't snap a photo but there was running water near the top of Carson Pass around 8:30am this morning. We also encountered open water in spots where we were not expecting to find it. We rode some more north facing terrain on the way out. The old runnels were more pronounced and the snow wasn't as soft, but it was still manageable.
