Wind was cross loading gullies on this NW aspect and building cornices on the leeward side of the slope.
Snowpack
Above treeline we skied on a supportable wind slab that covered the basal facets on the ground. Much of the terrain on this aspect was wind scoured and showed bare ground on the exposed ridgeline.
