Quick report
Loose dry sluffs running on steeper terrain and convexities. Did not notice any significant cracking or slab development in ATL terrain. Loose dry sluffs ran in top 5-10 inches of storm snow, depending on aspect.

In and out clouds starting around 12PM. Full sun came out around 2:15 PM but only for ~45 mins. Broken clouds the rest of the afternoon. Did not notice any effects of surface warming (no roller balls, pinwheels, etc.).
Snowpack
Measured HS 185cm at 5100' S aspect (in the clearing above Phantom Trees). Hasty pit revealed an interstorm crust, of varying depth (anywhere from 2-3cm to 8-10cm). Snow on top of interstorm crust was fist/4F hardness, with mix of graupel and new snow. Crust was 1F hardness. Below interstorm layer was more storm snow of fist/4F hardness. Interstorm crust was not boot supportable but ski supportable. Ski penetration on skin track was anywhere from 2-3 inches to 5-6 inches, depending on aspect and elevation. Did not experience propagation on the interstorm crust. Little wind affect of the top layer of snow.
