Significant wind transport throughout the day, with heavy winds and blowing snow on ridge tops. Some light snow in the afternoon, but hard to tell with so much wind blown snow. Bed surface and debris pile from Avalanche #2 was completely buried by the end of the day. Small to moderate shooting cracks were observed in newly formed wind slabs throughout the day, along with isolated collapsing and whumpfing. However, 2 lb or 4 lb hand charges were unable to trigger any avalanches involving facet layers. Reactivity was limited to storm slabs and wind slabs. No natural avalanches were observed, but small storm or wind slabs overnight could have been filled in.

2 lb charge released slab at old snow and 2/17 storm snow interface, roughly 40 cm down. Crown broke roughly 100 m wide and ran in two chutes.
