Quick report
We woke up to about 1.5" of new snow at the yurt, followed by heavy snowfall (S3 rates) until around 10:00, bringing the total accumulation to 4.5" at yurt level. Westerly winds were transporting snow and creating drifts in the mid and upper elevations. Much of the snow surface consisted of wind board and punchy snow over facets. We kept our skiing to a couple of short runs, with most of the day focused on cutting wood for the upcoming season.
