Quick report

There was some fresh wet avalanche activity today. In the past 2 days, there was natural avalanche activity on all middle and upper elevation aspects except due N, upper elevation slopes (there was activity on NW and NE slopes near 10,000', but not on due N). The attached photos are posted roughly north to south.

Cracking and collapsing are N/A

Seemed like the hottest day of the year. Ran into a couple local bikers I know who were riding at the top of the pass...wearing shorts and shortsleeve jerseys unzipped to stay comfortable at 5:30 PM.

Snowpack

Signs of moist to wet surfaces on some NW-N-NE to 9000-10,000' today. No formal observations - just avalanche photos.

Avalanche

Appeared to be some fresh activity from today, but we didn't observe a big natural wet cycle today (by 6:30PM). See photos. I was unsure of timing on many of these wet avalanches.
