Quick report

Snow below Hoffer Lakes had a bit of a crust. Some minor sun/wind affected snow on east side of ridge approaching the keyholes. Dug a small pit at the top of the highest keyhole. ~30 cm from surface to a slight crust, then ~55 cm to another slight crust and below that, weak, sugary snow to the ground (~45 cm). No collapse from shovel taps, but failed to the 30 cm deep crust when I jumped on the snow above the pit.
