Cracking
isolated

Cool overcast to start the day. Winds moderate to strong though out most of the day. Blowing out of NW/W. Midafternoon the sun poked out for a while. The. Wind was transporting snow. Dug put at 8200ft. W Aspect. 160cm height of snow. Pit shows the predominant layers in our snowpack. The snowpack looks to be right side up in this location. Test showed ECTX. Was cautious on ski terrain due to small cracking in skin track on way up mid elevation S W Aspect. And watching to see how new snow bonding snowpack.
