Sawmill Gulch, Lost River Range

Hiked/snowshoed up to Peak 10,195 in Sawmill Gulch to see what conditions were like. We saw avalanche activity coming off every chute going up to the saddle between Leatherman and Badrock Peak. Some minor snow cracking but it was isolated to where we were stepping. Snow varied from firm to breakable crust with powdered sugar underneath. Probably a good idea to stay off steeper slopes right now.
