Quick report
This was a quick, late afternoon ski to look at the amount of melting going on in the snowpack.

Afternoon weather: bands of high clouds partially blocking the sun, allowing some diffuse sunlight through. Light to mod winds blowing out of the S/SW. Wind would have to turn north and blow significantly harder to put large amounts of snow into play.
Snowpack
High clouds and southerly winds prevented any wet issues from making it around to W aspects. There were a few very small wet loose dribbles in the terrain I moved through, just a fraction of what this terrain can produce with more productive wet cycles. Snowpack was doing a good job of sponging any produced meltwater, there was very little free water flowing on roads, even in the afternoon. Snowpack was moist throughout on thin, low and middle elevation solars, but staying cold and dry at the upper end of middle and all upper elevations.

Very little recent wet snow activity. It "felt" like there was a lot of debris in this bowl that had been hidden by wind-loading, but I couldn't tell where it had come from.
