Happy Bunny Butte, NE facing. Approx 11am observed remnants of recent glide avalanche on slab. Zoom in to center of photo to see. Campers on ridge said they saw it break loose several hours earlier. Swept over trail. A bit surprising, even with the glide cracks and hump, because it was low and sort of tucked in. Not that familiar with area, maybe it’s notorious. Beware of overhead hazard. Otherwise skiing on generally rigid supportable sun cups and corn, no significant boot or ski penetration, except when punching thru to voids in scree while boot packing. Beautiful day.
