Quick report

All aspects traveled had a crust on the surface, with the exception of steep N and NE aspects. This crust was protecting loose snow that would have otherwise been available for wind transport. Aspects with the most windward exposures had already been stripped of any loose snow. Warm slopes began getting moist on the surface by late morning, but the snow under the surface hadn't transitioned to supportable yet. Wind loaded test slopes did not indicate instability, and mitt pits and hand shears also did not.
