Good riding even in old tracks. Saw a fresh size 2.5 avalanche triggered by glacier ice from one of the paths that affect the access road. No other recent activity. There is a layer of weak surface hoar buried by about 30 cm of low density snow. This could potentially be a problem in the future as it gets buried deeper.
