Tablelands

48 hours of above zero temperatures and rain have continued to knock back the snowpack in the Tablelands. Lots of water running, lots of walking needed to get to snow, lots of skiable terrain lost for the season. Still enough snow in the Trout River Bowl for spring conditions keeners. Still lots of big cornices looming that will start to wake up with the warm temps, and possible wet loose or wet slab problems if you find yourself in extreme terrain. No new avalanches were observed today on highway 431.
