Log Cabin powder turns

Went out to log cabin for some powder surfing away from anything wind affected. Chose a nice rolling spine well away from any avalanche fall line and had an amazing time. No facefulls of powder, but the snow was buttery smooth and super predictable. The wind was higher as we went further up the mountain, but died down once the sun came out.
Snow profile showed fresh powder sitting on top of hoarfrost at 270cm. Weak layer sitting at 245cm which survived wrist, elbow, and shoulder test and only triggered after a 3rd hammer blow. Felt super safe riding in open trees, most of the hill was below 30° angle.
Amazing day!
