Today we found a surprising 200cm snowpack at 2265m on a slightly cross loaded SE aspect on Mt Manson. The crust was down 93cm at this location. Compression test results produced sudden planar tesults down 80cm, ctm 19 and cth 22.
Good skiing.
It looked and felt like many of the SE facing slide paths across from the yurt had all slide close to full path some time ago. But the SW facing paths on the connecting ridge to Mt Patrick may either have not have slid or did not go as big.
