Watersprite before the storm

Wet snow falling all day on Friday. Accumulation appx 10cm by 5pm. Good riding on sheltered North aspects in the trees. Everything else had a significant crust, either wind scoured or sun-crust.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Powder, Wet. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Cold, Stormy, Windy. We rode: Dense trees, Mellow slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Alpine slopes, Convex slopes, Steep slopes, Sunny slopes. Riding quality was good.
Weather
Moderate wind coming from the South. At times quite gusty. Not much snow to transport from the sun-crusty South aspects, but the falling storm snow was blowing around.
