Avalanche Information

We set off quite a few small slab avalanches size .5 - 1.5. Easily slid on unsupported slopes. Crust was 10cm down and the crust slid with the avalanche

Weather

Started off foggy and cloudy. But very quickly got to be very sunny and we could see the snow ontop become very sun effected. It Started to clump up and pinwheel

Snowpack

Test 1. CTM 13. Down 38cm CTH 19. Down 90cm Test 2. CTM 14. Down 42cm Test 3. CTE9. Down 38cm CTM 16. Down 90cm Crust is 10cm thick. Broke under the crust. Crust slid with avalanche We did a make shift rushblock test by cutting the crust in 2 lines going up the hill on either side of the pit. On the second jump (not very hard ) the whole thing slid.
